Background

He previously held senior investment and research leadership roles at Afrinvest, AIICO Capital, Sankore Securities, and Meristem Securities. Robert possesses extensive expertise across equities, fixed income, currencies, commodities, derivatives, and alternative investments. He played a leading role in the development of the Afrinvest Banking Value Index and Afrinvest High Dividend Yield Index in partnership with the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX).

He is a SEC-certified Capital Market Operator, Authorised Dealing Clerk of the NGX, Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS), Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), UK, and Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). Robert holds a First-Class Honours degree, a Postgraduate Diploma in Economics (Distinction), and an MSc Economics (Distinction) from the University of Lagos. He is currently completing a PhD in Management (Finance) at Pan-Atlantic University and is an alumnus of the Senior Management Programme (SMP 95), Lagos Business School. He also serves on the Advisory Board of Scepter Advisory Limited and as a Non-Executive Director of Norrenberger Securities Limited.
